There's a real mixture of stuff on this site. From the early days in archaeology, through to the days of green printing, permaculture, furniture making, sculpture and community activism.
These days I'm concentrating more on direct slow action and the poking of the morally redundant folk sitting comfortably out there in the environmental, craft and social enterprise sectors. Time is too short for us all to be meally-mouthing around the important issues. Too many of the right people are in the wrong jobs !! I want to help address that.
Quality Scottish craft development is important to me in the work at Buy Design Gallery, near Jedburgh in the Scottish Borders. The support of designers, artists and makers, their commercial sustainability and the celebration of our cultural heritage is core to my work there.
Lastly and always dear to my heart is the promotion and engagement of a wider audience with community woodlands, voluntary arts, sustainable buildings and environment throughout Scotland.
