The Scottish Allotment and Gardens Society have published a really good plot-holders guide for allotments. The allotment guide includes information for existing plot-holders, but also contains advice for those looking to establish a new allotments site. It covers topics like health and safety on allotments; bee-keeping and other livestock; rents; funding and legislation. You can download a copy of the guide from below
