Another wee experiment with some stones and a camera tonight just thinking about recent geology on the move http://issuu.com/eoincox/docs/stones?viewMode=magazine&mode=embed  Unfortunate that Japan gets hit by such earth forces. What would a haiku scribe  write to accompany some of these images. I'm always in total awe of those carved stone balls that we very occasionally find in Scotland c 3,-5,000 years old. Pure sculpture, mathematical beauty, very Japanese. Make you own minds up as to what their function was / still is ?

Hi Eoin,

just to say one of those carved balls was found on Novar Estate just beside Evanton - I think it is in the national museum in Edinburgh now.

Hope you are well, best wishes

Janey
